Produce Distribution Facility

Project Overview

WBSE completed the construction of a 91,000 square foot, state-of-the-art produce distribution facility in the Chicago Stockyards for Testa Produce. This is the first freezer/cooler building in the United States to receive an LEED Platinum certification. WBSE negotiated a Redevelopment Agreement with the City of Chicago and sourced financing for the project, included Recovery Zone Bonds and New Markets Tax Credits. WBSE acted as a fee developer on this project.
